KISSteria on A&E

Anybody get the chance to check out KISSteria this week on A&E? I thought it was pretty well-done. Some of the editing doesn't work well (as I'm picky about jump cuts), and it comes off as being less than "reality" in some spots (gasp!!!!!!), but I enjoyed it. The dynamic between Paul & Gene was good.

All in all, I say well done.

entertaining show..... goofy at times, like when Eric was supposedly MIA.... then suddenly he shows in full costume and makeup just minutes before KISS is to hit the stage 0rolleyes

I thought Gene's comments were very interesting concerning Eric's request to sing "Beth" in concert..... (for those who didn't see the show, it was kind of a running gag throughout where Eric repeatedly asked Gene permission to sing "Beth").....at one point Gene says to the camera: "When Peter Criss left the band, out of respect and out of a sorta verbal discussion with him, we decided not really to do it again." ....ummmm, ok Gene

I enjoyed watching it, but you could tell it was scripted. I don't really care that it was scripted b/c I laughed a little at it and the show was entertaining, like it is suppose to be.

Like said several times, it sure was scripted but I don't give a damn! It was entertaining and KISS is all about entertainment! I loved the beginning when Paul & Gene were at Pauls house 0smile2

I agree it was scripted like Family Jewels but very entertaining wish they would do more

The fact that Paul acquiesced to do this shows that he's a hypocrite. That he would never appear on Gene's show, then he does, and then he allows himself to be the focus on another reality show.

It was enjoyable to watch...and now they're doing Beth...as a band.

I see what you're saying, for the most part...but I still stop short of calling him a hypocrite. Why?

1) This was a KISS show.
2) It was not a Paul Stanley reality show that infringed on his privacy, family's privacy, etc.

Thank you Bungee! Paul Stanley once said that he'd rather have shards of glass stuck under his fingernails instead of doing a reality show. I bet there is blood everywhere now. 0shock
