| Welcome To The Detention Hall ! |
You have come to the right place!
Just another KISS bulletin board? Not hardly! We are a KISS Army community!
The Detention Hall forum was formed to maintain contact among the KISS Army members, young and old, so that we can share our life experiences together into the future. As youngsters back in the early days of the band, many of us found ourselves in the detention hall on occasion - so the name fits us well!
Obviously since KISS is the common thread that binds us together, discussion of the band is a major part of the board. However, we do not concern ourselves solely on KISS-related topics. At the Detention Hall, we share opinions on topics like sports, movies, TV, and music from other bands from the past and present.
You can view the forum as a guest before joining, and we invite you to do so. You certainly will not find any haters here, we simply do not tolerate it. What you will find is a community of people who have arrived here primarily as a result of their interest in KISS and who have found themselves making new friends, perhaps even for a lifetime. New members are always welcome with open arms - we would not have it any other way!
The Detention Hall forum is administered and moderated by a group of longtime fans who share a very special friendship with each other. We are dedicated to making the Detention Hall the best it can be!
We are one ... we are the KISS Army flunkies of the Detention Hall ... and we invite you to join us!

Gene Simmons on Jackson: Kids who accused him of molestation should be heard
By Nick Patch – 19 hours ago
TORONTO — Gene Simmons says he's heard enough celebrity tributes to Michael Jackson, and wants to hear from the kids who accused the late pop singer of molestation.
Simmons, the bassist/vocalist for classic rock stalwarts Kiss, says he's less interested in Jackson's talent than he is in accusations that the singer molested young boys.
"I want the kids who've accused him, to b...

Pharaoh or Ankh Warrior |
| Posted: FrOsT-sAtYr In: KISS 101 @ Fri, Jul 03 2009, 11:07 AM |
You guys are pretty good with Kiss trivia.
I remember at least until -92ish, Vinnie Vincent's character was referred to as "the pharaoh", not the less
grandiose sounding 'ankh warrior'.
In several magazines, I saw the name in print, like Metal Edge.
I know paul stanley designed vinnie's makeup, but I feel that after the lawsuits Gene and Paul gave him the
'ankh warrior' moniker to not make it sound so majestic or grandiose.
Nowadays, almost everyone has universally a...

For personal reasons, I've decided to halt the sale of my book. Thank you to those who supported me, but I have chosen to put the kibosh on the book.

How you can make a great new KISS album |
| Posted: MRMAKEBELIEVE In: KISS 101 @ Wed, Jul 01 2009, 4:44 PM |
So supposedly both the new KISS album and the new Ace album will be out on September 15th. (And if you believe that then the Easter Bunny wants to sell you a bridge.)
This is just my opinion, but I'm thinking there'll be maybe 4 really good songs on the KISS album, possibly 4 "Eh" songs and 2 total crap filler songs.
I predict 3 really good Ace tracks, 3 "Eh" songs and about 8 crap songs. (Fuck you, I'm always right.)
So here's the deal..........Dump those crappy n...

KissFAQ's latest book idea... |
| Posted: pompous-ass In: KISS 101 @ Wed, Jul 01 2009, 1:52 PM |
Last year I got a book publication idea going, which I've decided not to pursue. So rather than waste the $ already paid for that publication I'm pondering doing a "Kiss Army" book. I'll throw the concept out for peer review?
- Would you be interested in submitting something celebrating your personal Kiss fandom for publication?
- Would you be interested in reading how Kiss have affected other people's lives/careers?
- Would you like to read how Kiss influenced other rock musician...

9 Years Ago Tonight... |

..I saw KISS at Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, VA on the Farewell Tour thinking it was going to be the last time I was ever going to get to see KISS.
Now we have a new album due in a couple of months and a brand new tour to look forward to. Life is good.
